On April 10th 2006 my life was turned upside down. My 3 year old son was killed in a fire. We were rented an apartment that turned out to be an illegal one. The landlord went to the planning board of the city and was denied the licence to rent the apartment out. There was also no smoke detectors installed.
In August we found out that I was pregnent with an IUD in place. The doctors told me I had to options. To terminate the pregnancy or try to continue with it. Well, I choose to continue and they tried to remove the IUD without success. So I continued the pregnancy with the IUD in place and the Baby looking good. I became sick a about 18 weeks and was then hospitalized with 2 blood clots.  I have been giving myself blood thinner shots ever since. At 20 weeks I started to spot bleeding, so again I was hospitalized and given every test on the planet......the doctors desided the IUD was causing the bleeding, and was told if it increases or I have an clotting to come back in. At 23 weeks I had a clot the size of my palm, so I went right to the hospital and was told that I am going to continue to bleed and they will be monitoring the baby very closely to make sure everything is going well, and the heart rate remains normal. So now I am a high risk pregnancy and am on bed rest. I can't help my fience pay the bills. We are currently living in a one bedroom, and need to find something bigger for our newest addition. We need help.
